First time really sticking my nose in /smoke/, hope this isn't too common of a question.I know a couple people that smoke cigarettes, but they're apparently not addicted. One only does when offered, and the other does simply when he's bored (and has gone months without smoking). How is this possible?I've actually never smoked a cigarette even once. Smoking cured my asthma. Also, it is moderately tough to get addicted, I will say that I am moderately, but its not that hard to not have one. I just have an annoying twinge of a headache. I'm fine for a day as long as I have one when I wake up.
I've noticed that it's eaiser for people who actually have set times for smokeing (breaks at work, right after lunch, w/e) to get addicted. sets up that whole habit part of the addiction.
I'm not addicted I just smoke at social events or when I'm walking along at night every now and again. I never find myself craving one or needing one I just say to myself "hey I feel like having a cigarette today" or I just want one. It's not hard to go without I go weeks without them Yesterday I had my first cig in 2 weeks.
ITT: Cigarettes you hate. You only post once, and you can't defend your brand.

I have no experience with dip, so how big of a pinch should I use, where do I put in my mouth, and how long do I keep it there?Also, the taste was godawful foul when I first tried. Are there any techniques to prevent the inexorable urge to hock a tobacco-flavored loogey every 10 seconds while using this biznitch?
