It's not that I don't want to, it's that I have been incredibly dissuaded to go because of how main stream Rave culture has become for teenagers here in San Diego. I'm not sure if this is unique to SD or Southern California. But in the last year Raving (and taking Ecstasy) has become a scene here in San Diego. You may think I'm exaggerating, but I'm not. At my high school (yes I am a high schooler, 18 years old) I kid you NOT, wearing Candy bracelets has become so wide spread that I would estimate that at least 1/5th of the females wear them. I have been taking ecstasy for a few years now, taking 3 month breaks between each roll. But this year rolling has EXPLODED. I estimate that at least 1/3rd of the school population has done it. Even the freshmen. Because of this I have discontinued by use completely so if It becomes too popular I am not suspected. It's just becoming something to do to be cool, rather than as an experience. 2 years ago When I told people I used X, they looked at me like I was a flithy druggie. People told me I would develop brain-holes. Now I see people liining up to buy pills from campus dealers. Everyone is going to these "raves" which are just clubs that play techno. I can't speak too much on Raving because I have yet to go to one, but my friend who goes to underground raves says these are nothing like real raves. Fuck, I feel like I'm rambling. My point is this: I fear that Ecstasy and Raving culture will develop into a trend sometime in the VERY near future. I live in Temecula, and E has seemed to have exploded here in the last 4-6 months as well. It was simply unheard of for anyone to drop E/go to a rave 2 years ago, now it's hard to find people who don't. I have dropped with 7 people in the last month that have never dropped before, and every one of them are going to do it again. A couple of friends and I are going to go to our first real rave in a couple weeks.I'm not sure why it seems to be coming into the mainstream in this part of the world, but I'm actually fairly happy about this trend. Hopefully we can get some good publicity and eventually, slowly, move our way towards legalization/decriminalization.

Make sure to separate the toilet paper so it's single ply. Yeah, it avoids the taste while benefiting for the reason people chew it -- since it's crushed up you can digest it quicker.

I'm going to see Infected Mushroom this saturday at The Rave in milwaukee. Planning on rolling but haven't been able to score any at my campus or in my hometown. Whats the likelyhood of finding some at the show and what kind of person should i be on the lookout for? Is security pretty lax? How common is bunk and adulterated E at shows?
look for the guys walking around saying "x.....x.....x...."they'll be selling x. also, you're just as likely to get bad pills from someone at a rave then from any other dealer, since one type of pill tends to circulate an area at a time, and every dealer gets that type of pill since its the only kind around.you might want to check pillreports just to see if there are any bad ones in your area right now though

Just eat them. Chewing is a waste of time, pills dissolve rapidly within the stomach, chewing might increase the speed at which you come up by 10 - 20 seconds, but that's it.
