Does anyone have any experience in sculpting with foam latex? I've done a bit of lost wax casting and heaps of slip-cast, but I've never worked with latex. I've seen the skeletons for these dolls and they're really simple to make with a few broomsticks, 20 or so spring pins and some purpose made connectors (for a simple design). These things would be easy to make, but I can see the R&D phase being kind of expensive (especially the heads). I'd take this question to /art/ but those guys... you know.
