Based on the last few posts I think I have to agree. I'm in a similar position where it feels like my whole life is going to be full of frustration, because for all the talents and skills and ambition that I have, motivation is a major weakness.

I think surrounding yourself with people that are motivated would have huge positive effects on your own motivation. If you do this and it works please tell me, so eventually I might try it too :P

I had problems with procrastination. I don't know if this will help you too, but it's worth a shot.

Maybe you just don't like the feeling of HAVING to do something, (i.e. being FORCED to do it) so you subconsciously protest by avoiding it or at least postponing it until you have no choice but to do it. The thing is you DON'T have to do ANYTHING. You CHOOSE what to do.

OP, join the military. that'll straighten you out.

The thing that helps me get off my ass is fapping. Seriously, you should try it, whenever I feel like "oh I should go to the gym already or they'll close it again... let's wait another 5 minutes..." I just drop my pants, fap quickly and afterwards feel so shitty about myself that I just HAVE TO do something productive.

Just throwing this out there: I think contact juggling is amazing. I'd chose it over "real" juggling any day!

As for making money from it, most of the contact jugglers I know have steady jobs and just go to parks on the weekends for fun and the joy of amusing people. I don't think it's something you can quit your day job for, unless you are amazing enough to be doing Vegas shows.

The key to having your roomies not miss their rent, is to find roomies who are not the type of people to miss their rent. You could also try to find an apartment that's does single leases as opposed to joint leases, i.e. you are responsible for own rent and no one else's, if someone else doesn't pay then they get evicted from their own room.

don't pay a big deposit, like no more than half of one month's rent ($200 is preferred). you can kiss that money goodbye.
