Anywho, I use airstones and the second from smallest air pump. about 11 bucks total at walmart. or 6 dollars if you get the single valve 5-15 gal air pump. plus 1 dollar for the two blue airstones, they are about the diameter of a finger and 1 inch tall.

This can be found in aquarium/fish section.

Basically, connect tubing to pump and whatever else (eg backflow stopper) and on the end is the air stone... put the air stone in a little jar or styrofome cup filled with 2-3" inches of water, with about 5-8 drops of hydrogen peroxide.

You can stop watering it, I find it harder to trim with the droopy leaves, so I always water them enough so that they wont be all droopy.

A PC grow does not consume more electricity than a normal PC, it does not get hotter than a normal PC, so why would the pigs be able to detect it?

Let's have a look at how FLIR works.

About the warrant thing - it depends where you live. State, and country, laws vary wildly. And don't forget, getting a warrant for a large-ish operation just isn't that tough for a well equipped police district. It takes time, yes, but an unscrupulous grower can easily make enough circumstantial evidence to warrant a warrant (heh) if they're not careful.

As for your IR question... HPS lamps push out a lot of IR radiation directly. These cameras are so sensitive though, that they can see general clouds and areas of higher temperature as well. If you're venting 4000w of air from your hooded HPS lights, right beside your AC condenser (outside) - and your AC is the only one in the neighborhood with such a heat signature - that's a bad thing.

It is a bit more complex than that.
There are 2 ways bagseeds are created:

1. From outdoor plants that got pollinated by males in the vicinity. These seeds are just normal seeds with no higher risk of hermaphrodites. However as much of this kind of weed comes over the southern border, you'll most probably have sativa dominant genetics which are difficult to grow indoors due to their strong vertical growth and long flowering time.
2. From indoor plants. Since there will we no males nearby that could pollinate the females, they are most likely from hermaphroditic self pollination. These seeds have a high chance to grow into hermaphroditic plants.

The dirt is still pretty soaked from the flushing. It'll probably be a little while before there are any obvious results. The plant is looking good though, and I still have high hopes for the outcome.

When growing bag seed look at the bud you got the seed from before you grow it.

If the plant was a hermi, you can see the freaking pollen sacks in the bud! Simple as that, you see a plant penis, you don't grow it!

If you don't see a plant penis, Grow it!

As for adding a pill to the soil to make it female seeds, I always herd this with happening birth control, not Asprin.

What do you mean by "gas lamp"? One of those lamps that combusted gas from before electricity was around?
In HID lamps, the ballast simply serves to limit the current. HID lamps become more and more conductive the hotter they get and thus need limited current or they would get too hot and melt. The voltage HID lamps are being operated with is the same that comes out of your wall plug.

As for flourescent lamps, yes the voltage for those is being stepped up by the ballast and the current is limited as well.

Both lamp types use gas, although different gases and in a different manner.

Also, HID bulbs do not run on the same voltage as your mains outlet - they require at minimum ~330v. Easily obtained information by simply reading the info on the ballast itself. Right no the label it should tell you the input voltage and amperage, and it should tell out the output voltage and amperage. Pic included is what's directly on my 400w HPS ballast. See the primary output voltage at 480V? That's not house voltage. Highest house voltage I'm aware of is 220-240 in Europe.

That ETI ballast has 400 watt feeder clamps, so that probably steps up from 230v (european mains voltage) at .76A to ~350V @ .43A, typical conversion in the EU for 150W lamps.
